Enemy Weakness'
Just curious but is there a place/site that list the kind of information related to enemies and there weakness' ie Dwarves = Icy damage. I know of some of the more well known enemies and what elemental damage is most effective to taking them down, but I would like to have a source for all enemies in all chapters of GW, and find more uses for earth and lightning damage mods.
Cheers. |

The only place I know that would have any info like that is the Wiki Bestiary pages, but not enemies have weaknesses listed. A lot of them can be guessed. Fire damage is good against snowmen .... things like that.

Yeah, there are the obvious ones like Frozen Elementals, Flame Djinn, and Plants. I always believed Charr were weak against Icy damage due to there love of fire but never had this confirmed.

I think most monsters don't have weaknesses. The ones I know for a fact that do are:
Ice elementals: fire Plants: fire Titans: cold Undead: holy I also think Tengu are weak against lightning damage. No monsters are weak against earth damage to my knowledge though. |

It would be pointless to have earth based mods in a game with no use.

Obsidian Flame ignores armor if I'm not mistaken, but I think creatures in the Desert of Tyria are more resistance to Earth and Air.
Yes, I don't think there are any creatures anywhere that are inherently weak against Earth damage, just like no one is inherently weak against chaos damage. Ranger classes are more resistant to elemental damage, warriors are more resitant to physical damage. While you may like to see what monsters are weaker to certain types of damage, it would help you to see what monsters have more defenses against certain types of damage too. |

Fire Damage does not cause them to suffer any additional damage purely on the basis that they're made of "snow".
